Summary

My Educational background and experience have prepared me. I am a holder of Bsc. (Hons) degree in Management from the University of Buea, Cameroon in 2001. I am undergoing a Post Graduate Diploma in financial Management with Strategia Netherlands. I have been working with International Non-Governmantal Organisations for more than 6years now. I am currently working with Plan International Cameroon as Sub-Grant and Partnership Coordinator in the implementation of Global Affairs Canada funded project dubbed ‘Refugee Education and Development' I successfully carried out SEMBE's Financial audit in 2022 and those of Maroua I and Kousseri councils in 2021.

During my career I have achieved a lot in the realisation of many projects' implementation. I have worked as project accountant where I reviewed expense reports, prepared, tracked and controlled budgets, and submitted timely donor financial reports. I worked as Financial Administrative Officer with SNV where I reviewed all financial transactions including procurements. I am currently achieving more results in coordinating grants award to project implementing partners and organisations; monitoring their implementations; coaching partners and providing them with relevant trainings to optimise quality program delivery. This role obliges me to master the manual of operations and procedures of both Plan and her partners ensuring that control mechanisms therein guarantee compliance to donor requirements. I am the custodian of project documents and ensures the development of good filling system.

I worked with several software systems especially Greatplains, SAP, SapByDesign, QuickBooks, TOMPRO and have a knowledge of Global Focus Insight and FOCUS Reader. I have gone through a series of professional trainings which have improved my competencies in excels worksheets, budgetary techniques, financial control and analyses and timely reporting. Being a fast learner and ability to adapt fast to change in a multicultural setting makes me just the right person you are looking for. Sub-Grants and Partnership Coordinator

· Monitors the management of grants awarded to various organisations implementing the project READ; Ensuring that partners receive all the minimum training required to implement the partnership agreement and to work with the departments responsible for implementing these trainings. To help ensure good communication between plan International and its partners; Regularly mapping partners in the Far North Region following Plan International partnership guidelines and sector best practices.

· Provides overall project accounting and financial management ensuring compliance to donor requirements; providing quality financial reports on time and ensures efficient budget management; Ensuring that partners' contractual reports are reviewed, and internal feedback is compiled and sent to partners in a timely manner. Advising the Grants Coordinator and Project Managers of any issues and provide timely feedback to partners.

· Supporting greater integration, learning, sharing and dissemination, timely and effective delivery of programs in terms of financial compliance and quality programming of assigned portfolio. Working closely with relevant managers such as logistics, finance, administration, Human Resources or security to ensure timely program delivery.

· Works with the Grants Coordinator to develop concept notes and donor proposals and participate in writing them in close cooperation with relevant departments in Maroua Programme Implementing and Influencing Area(MPIIA);maintaining overview of all grants, donor requirements, rules and regulations, and internal and external deadlines, including filing of grant documents and documents coming from partners.

· Process payments vouchers and journal vouchers through SAP on time and in accordance with Operational Manual ensuring that this is done upon approval within 48 hours.

· Enter all accounting transactions SAP accounting software.

· Review procurement transactions to ensure that all supporting documentation and approvals are accurate

· Reconcile bank and managements accounts on a monthly basis regularly

· Support Finance Coordinator in analysing the cost recovery per GAD and ensuring all cost are recovered with a report on a monthly basis.

· Ensures that management of cash is in compliance with the Operational Manual and this is done in the timely submission of cash forecast and refreshal on monthly basis. Also, vigilance is placed on bank balances ensuring that sufficient funds are available at any given point.

· Files all vouchers (Cash disbursement, cash receipt, journals) and check for completeness, accuracy, and consistency with attached supporting documents in compliance with Operational Manual and local laws. This objective ensures that all vouchers are filled chronologically after cancellation. All refunds are deposited in the bank not later than 48hours after reception and cheques/payments are done within 48hours. A cash count sheet is submitted every Friday of the week.

· Encodes accrual accounting entries in accordance with accruals accounting plan of action. No outstanding accruals after period closure.

· Facilitate provision of information and documentation during audits.

· Oversee processing of payroll each month and prepare salary receipt/payroll forms, as well as the pension and social security withholdings and employer contributions. Liaising with income tax authority and remit employee withholdings monthly.

· Ensuring routine financial planning and reporting deadlines and requirements are met for the PIIA (Programme Influencing and Implementation Area) and donor.

· Served the strategic role of interface between the project and the publics; the manager and the various departments in order to ease information flow, ensured the daily functioning of office affairs and proper management of project resources. The management of project assets; vehicles, motorcycles, office stationaries, office equipment, stocks in warehouse just to name this few. Ensuring regular general office maintenance and supervising the janitor with all the drivers
