- The largest and most equipped Government Health Institution in the North-West Region which offers quality medical services to users
- I have had an extensive level of work experience from the hospital which range from (but not limited to):
- Checking the vital signs of care users;
- Checking care users’ daily records to make sure prescriptions had been served by previous staff as prescribed;
- Visiting care users in their own homes to provide care and support;
- Disposing of clinical waste in line with health and safety standards;
- Assisting with dressing and undressing;
- Responsible for the care and protection of residents’ property;
- Maintaining accurate and informative daily records for all residents;
- Ensuring a safe and tidy working environment at all times, such as clean and tidy bed tables, clinical areas, and uncluttered corridors;
- Dispensing and administering medications as directed by medical providers and family members;
- Encouraging care users to participate in social and recreational activities;
- Working with colleagues to deliver integrated care;
- Providing general care and counselling to clients; and
- Reporting any anomalies to appropriate authority
- I have also had the privilege of working with some clients who had slight mental health challenges
- I had to learn diligence, paying attention to detail, patience, team spirit, and working under pressure.
