- Duties and responsibilities
- During my stay in the hospital, activities performed where consultation, assessing, identifying and diagnosing common ailment, draw and follow up individual nursing care plan for patient, demonstrated skills in carrying out nursing procedures, administration of patient’s medication, carried out counseling and clinical teaching, diagnosed community health problems and proposed appropriate intervention, carried out home visits and health education. In obstetrics, follow up was done for pregnant women from conception to delivery and post partum. Worked in the female medical ward, female surgical ward, male medical, male surgical unit, antenatal consultation, pediatric ward, post natal ward, family planning and nursery, work at neurological/ obstetric and gynecological ward, labor room, Antenatal consultation and postnatal ward.
