  • Provide CHW with technical coaching, logistical assistance and mentoring to help each CHW meet the daily challenges of his work;
  • Monitor CHWs visit to households, pregnant women and children under 5 to ensure that all members of the community receive timely visits;
  • Conduct a home visit observation, a feedback session with each CHW and complete the home visit observation sheet;
  • Monitor the supply of CHWs, ensure all CHWs provide necessary supplies for each visit, and communicate any shortages or stock out of inputs;
  • Observe and document the accuracy of the skill with which each CHW provides services such as Malaria RDT test, MUAC measurement, search missed children for routine vaccination and health behavior counseling;

  • Planning of mass vaccination campaigns against Polio and others public health events, training of social mobilisers, coordination of communication activities in the health districts;
  • Supervision of district and health area trainings of vaccination actors before vaccination campaigns;

  • Main accomplishments
  • Participated in planning more than ten (10) mass vaccination campaigns and others public health events, training of social mobilisers, coordination of communication activities;
  • Supported developments of the district micro plans for mass vaccination campaigns;
  • Supported trainings of health areas focal persons at the district and that of social mobilisers in the community;
  • Supported the development of supervision plans with names of district supervisors and telephone contacts;
  • Supported the development of daily well defined itinerary of district supervisors;
  • Ensured the list of social mobilizers and vaccinators is drafted with telephone contacts and pasted with their itineraries;
  • Supported nine (09) health districts to organize the launching of the campaign with some influential local authorities;
  • Intensification of communication activities in areas with special populations and poorly covered areas during previous campaigns;
  • Supported health districts to maximally use the partnership network with churches, schools, local organizations through series of meetings;
  • Participated in the daily district evaluation meetings, with collection and analysis of data and corrective measures envisaged for the problems encountered during the daily activities;
  • More than twenty (20) supportive supervision for community based surveillance activities including traditional-practitioners, community health workers, using ODK;
  • More than sixty (60) community action plans elaborated for community health workers in 16 health districts;
  • Supportive supervision of cold chain management in the districts and health facilities;
  • Identified and assisted in the follow up of five (20) AEFI cases during Measles and Rubella vaccination campaigns in 2015;
  • Monitored proximity communication by administering indoor and outdoor questionnaires;
  • More than 30 reports of supervision activities of the campaigns.

  • In charge of public relations of the regional delegation of Public Health;
  • In charge of partnership with other institutions and other NGOs/CBOs;
  • Ensure data collection of communication activities during campaigns against poliomyelitis as from day -2, in collaboration with the focal point of communication;
  • Supervision of public health campaigns in the Region;
  • In charge of dialog structures in all health districts;
  • Data Management and regular update of human Resource for Health;
  • Organization of the competitive entrance examination into training schools of health personnel;
  • Preparation of the Regional draft of the leave decision for all personnel;
  • Ensure the hygiene and sanitation of the Regional Delegation premises;
  • Others functions assigned by the Chief of service of General Affairs when necessary and the regional delegate of public health.
  • Main accomplishments
  • Fifteen (15) associations are having a collaboration letters with the regional delegation of public health;
  • Organised seven (07) competitive entrance examinations into public and private nursing schools;
  • Put in place the nominal roll of all health personnel serving in the Region and compiled it in a software mask;
